Very Raff Music
Posted September 20th, 2007 by alfredlopezOn my way to work, I was listening to satellite radio (it's not important where the music was coming from, but it is significant; I'll explain later) and after Devienne's lovely Symphony Concertante for two clarinets (I think there is a flute version of that) followed by Hummel's bassoon concerto in (what else?) F Major, the channel plays a Joachim Raff's String Quartet in A Major. I then realized why I dislike most Romantic music it's very "rough".
